I have created my first gmail account, so now for the first blog...............</span><br /><span style="font-family:georgia;">I am participating in a training package 'libraries learning 2.0' and will be merrily blogging my way through it. I must admit I didn't understand what all the fuss was about "what's a blog", but now that I've had a look through some of the blogs, I think I am going to enjoy it, as well as learn a great deal.</span><br /><span style="font-family:georgia;">I have been working in libraries for a long time - 18 years in school libraries - from Bankstown to Burwood. Now working at one of the branches for Bankstown City Library. Contrary to what non library folk think...it's usually a very busy working environment - we really don't just sit and read books all day.
